yeah but its about atmosphere not just music!.. if u dont look up to the crowd how can u engage them!
i must admit i was blown away first time i saw him but i think it was bcoz in was my first nite out (wen i turned 18) ... now after seeing many internationals i prefer a dj who can mix and looks like he is having a blast!

The only time i have seen PVD was the last time he was down here in 2003 @ QBH. He is definately one everyone has to see. Ok he might not like interacting with the crowd much but his mixing..and set flow does the talking for you & isnt that what your there for in the first place!?!? He had this energy from start to finish..one night ill never forget. Hopefully we see him soon

PVD might not have the crowd interaction of Armin but he is a better DJ in my opinion.

music makes the atmosphere, *not* a DJ jumping around behind the decks. seaman was actually doing star jumps at a gig i attended. what a wanker.
and yeah, +1 to montagesrave. mmmmm, first nu-nrg tune i ever heard. thanks pvd!

i think its definitely a combination of factors - if u like pvds music, u prob wudnt mind him playing but not in view of the crowd? (if that makes sense)
guess most ppl agree with you all coz he is #2

as long as the mixing is reasonably tight, and the tunes are to my taste, i dont care what a DJ does behind the tables. even if theyre wearing a hugely embarrassing mirror jacket thingy.
