dj dawn, even if i shift the tonearm height to the max, just past 6mm, the stylus will still touch thoe next to top dot. I've found a way of stopping the needle hit the dots though . The tonearm lift thing to the right of the tone arm pivot, if you just lift that whilst the record plays, so the rubber lifting piece which the tone arm sits on is about 1 to 2mm below the vinyl, if there is skippage it will not touch the dots, but doesn't alter the weight of the tone arm. What do you think?
