WJ Henze makes straight up techno nowadays, but before he used to make some hard minimal tech, not to mention his amazing Time Splitter EP with Toni Rios, which is anything but straight-up tech..

As for Alexander Kowalski he's much more tech-house...so perhaps he doesn't fit very well...but then again, the person who created the thread may take a liking to that style as well, so who knows...

Also, Pascal's sets, at least some of his older ones, have a lot of minimal techno and tech-house incorporated in his sets...you really ought to hear them as well, wicked stuff...

Yea I hear Pascal has been going the minimal route nowadays too, his last Clubnight set was really good. But either way, I'd rather suggest some pure minimal names than producers who are reknowned for techno that isn't of the ilk this thread is about.

i strongly suggest you check out Tune In - Mixed & Compiled By Toni Rios...cd1 comprises minimal tracks in such a seemly order that makes for one of my fav. minimal mixes ever..while cd2 has some wicked banging techno that serves as an adjunct to the former, and ultimately renders this one of the best techno compilations (imo) to be released in the new millenium.

the creator of this thread need not heed cd2, however, if we're intent on suggesting minimalism.

still looking for each recommendation... along the way I found some gems : Scion's "Arrange and Process Basic Channel Tracks" Fluxion's "Vibrant Forms 2" Ion's "Theorem" and albums by Pole. Thanks everyone.
