I hope they strike.
The LCBO retail operations striking will (finally) make the gov't privatize liquor sales and open up the market for private (non-union) retailers.
I guess the funny thing is that the LCBO unionists think this will result in better conditions for their employees (when in reality it may very well be the nail in the coffin for gov't only retail operations).

On a more personal note, my own irony is the lack of LCBO elixir missing from my cupboards when I could use a Rum&Coke right now...
