Of Course it's the Tune that matters! Dj's come in at point where u must hear good Tunes nonstop, not before! At party the Dj makes the night by choosing the best Tunes! At home u listen to some good Tunes, it doesn't matter whether the music is continous or not.. So the producers win this round...

Though the tune is more important, there are dozens and dozens of quality tracks out there that most of us haven't heard. Why? Because you're not going to spend your time downloading a song from someone you've never heard of because there's no guarantee that it'll be any good. Take, for instance, the Shadow-Zone website. That place had dozens of MP3s listed for download. Most of them were by unknown artists. Now, how would you know which are good unless a) you have the time to download all of them, or b) you know the producer and you expect that since it is by this well-known producer, there's a good chance it'll be a good tune. Unfortunately, there's a lot of talent out there that'll never get recognized, and that's one case in which the producer is more important...

Hello!

Personally If the Dj is good and can mix quite well then thats a good job on his part. If hes spinning crap musik then you know boooo on his ass. so what im saying is im 60/40 in favor of the dj. I would rather see Tiësto spin his own musik than someone else....:TF:

All i am going to say, is that if there where no tunes, there would be no tracks, and there would be no need for Tt's, so therefore, there would be no dj's.
The track is always the most important.

The track - obviously...

The track will obviously recieve more attention if it is by a well known producer, but at the end of the day it the tune that counts...
