For most people, the "come down" is actually the result of your body being dehydrated, lack of sleep, and lack of food.
Studies have been done on sleep deprivation that even a 10 minute powernap after 36 hours of no sleep restores a person's mental capacity to functional levels. So, nap when you can.
And take the usual supplements: 100mg 5htp, as much Vitamin C as you want (actually you can't OD on vitamin C), and any multivitamin. The tastiest multivitamins are the gummy bears for kids, about $5.50 at any drugstore.
For dehydration, Pedialyte is a miracle-cure. Any sportsdrink with low sugar content and a bit of sodium is also good. Also, Tropicana fresh OJ mixed with 50% water and some splenda sugar is half the calories and carbs, same taste, without the acidity.
Even if you don't feel like it, EAT something when you wake. Bananas are really easy to eat when you're not hungry. Keep a bunch in your room.
I actually like to go for a jog after I wake up...helps to sweat out the impurities.
If you do the above, I guarantee you will be able to party forever.

I always used to go for a jog / workout after a long night and it helps immensely.

There's a shitload of bunk information going around... here's the best advice I've ever gotten, combed from personal experience as well as that of several friends and VERY old partygoers.
1. Do NOT take 5-htp on the same day as your roll, the only thing it will do is mess it up.
2. If you are going to "preload", which I think is a waste of money anyway, you can't just take one the day before dropping. You have to get it in your system, which means taking it once a day for AT LEAST 3 days beforehand, preferably a week.
3. Same goes for Vitamin C - if you're health-conscious you should be taking 500 mg a day anyway, but in order for it to have any effect on your comedown you'll need to take it once a day for about a week. An extra 500 a few hours before the party helps some people also (not me).
4. If part of your sketch factor is dry mouth and a sore jaw from clenching all night, take at least 500 mg of magnesium RIGHT before your treat, or as close as possible to it.
5. The main purpose of post-loading with 5-htp is the theory that it helps to prevent neurological damage. As of now, there's scarce evidence that there IS any neurological damage or that 5-htp really prevents it; however, for some people it's better to be safe than sorry, in which case you'll want to take about 200 mg roughly 6 hours after a come-down, along with some vitamin C.
6. If you tend toward depression afterwards and use 5-htp to help out, it's also a good idea to take a vitamin B complex with it, because they help a lot for stress management. They also turn your piss bright yellow, but that isn't something you need to worry about as long as you stick to the recommended dosage.
7. If you can't sleep afterwards, take a melatonin. IMHO you should avoid conventional sleep medicine, because for many people they lead to rough sleep and bad dreams. Melatonin will NOT make you delerious if you can't get to sleep (which is often the case considering that there's usually a shitload of uppers cut into pills), however, those other things can. Incidentally, Dramamine/Diphenyhydramine HCl/Dimenhydrate/Gravol/Benadryl/etc. are all the SAME THING, they are antihistamines and therefore combination anti-nauseants/sleep-aids; the dimenhydrate variety is less drowsy and some people take it if they have a tendency to ralph on come-ups.
8. Timwin is 100% right about pedialyte. That shit works miracles, I have seen people go from 0 to 60 in 10 seconds. He's also right about bananas. Best sketch food ever.
9. Gatorade. Before. During. After. Always. Because.
10. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT mix tylenol with any form of sketch or hangover if you can help it. That shit is MURDER on your liver, and your liver is already going to be pretty fucking stressed out at that point. It's better to take aspirin or advil.
11. Remember, the only true recovery is sleep. Any benefits you get from these other substances are only temporary. So keep in mind - the harder you party, the easier it will be to sleep afterwards.
