I dislike the onboard effects...to me they sound damn cheap. I'm working on a nice sounding saw patch. I gotta get used to programming this one.

Perhaps... I like to try a lot of different things... but rarely stick with anything for long...

The only piece of software I have bought is the Virus|Powercore and Powercore FX (which come with the Powercore card).

I wouldn't say it's not that I don't have the money... I'm creating something for other people to enjoy. Until those other people want to pay for the music, I don't find the merit in me paying for the software (I'de be getting royally screwed on my side of the bargin).

Hardware is an exception in that you can easily resell it for little or no loss (and sometimes a gain). I've owned MANY different pieces of music hardware, but have really only spent maybe $200 that I've not gotten back by reselling. That's why I can only own one piece of hardware at a time

yea can hear what your saying
I AM NOT AGAINST what you say

im just in the position, where i earn more than enough money to pay for the things i need
i can get them for free, but choose to pay for them now, just feels good doing it that way.
