Prices for everything goes up for WMC. It sucks, but it's expected
As for Space, I still have my Tiesto ticket, waited over 3 hours to get in, got pissed off and left. If you are gonna do Space for WMC, get there early!!! Lesson learned....

I had a good experience too, it was my first time at Space and although i was not AMAZED like everyone said i would be, it was a nice club...we got there around 11:30-12:00...and didnt wait at all, walked up to the front of the line and got in with ease.....PvD was sick, Ferry was good too...only thing that sucked was that towards the end we wanted some fresh air but the terrace was blocked off...other than that, awesome night

Yeah we got there at 12 am and didnt get in until 3 am. I can't believe they fucking oversold or whatever it is they did. Although I do have to hand it to them...it wasn't as packed inside as it was last year when you could barely move around. Either way, both times I've been there I've had terrible experiences with the club and I'm seriously considering not going there next year.

I had a good experience with space. Glad I followed DarkAngel's advice to show up early. Got there at around 10:30 and I was the second person waiting in line. It was kinda silly becasause even though the club was nowhere near full, they made us wait 15 minutes before they decided to let us in. I can see how they might have been assholes later on when the line was huge. Since they don't even search you when you go in (wtf??? shoulda brought my camera) you would guess the line would move pretty smoothly. There's no distinction between ticketholders and non-ticketholders in the line which is pretty dick and if I had purchased an advanced pass or a 3-day pass I'd be pissed too.

I'm glad you got in without much of a hassle, dude.

i will NEVER go to space again. i can't believe clubs think they can treat their patrons like that.
got to space at 12 for pvd, never had a problem in years past getting there at that time. and i'm tired of hearing 'this is wmc get to the club early'. we WERE there early and a wait in line would not have been so bad if:
1. the line was ORGANIZED. people would come later and just cut the line. f*ck all of you that did that! where were the bouncers/gates to control that??
2. what was up with the pushing and shoving in line? smushed like sardines for 2+ hours was not okay. where was the fire marshall to control this?? i've waited hours in lines before and never experienced anything like this.
3. why didn't the space staff tell us what was going on and the approximate wait times?? they just left us out there with no explanation. we heard rumors of the fire marshall and capacity control - but then tell me why we see 20 people walk out and not ONE person admitted??
we waited for three hours, 2.5 hours of the wait we only moved 5-10 feet - it looked like it was going to be another 2 hours before we got in. this was THE party of the conference for us - we had tickets a month in advance. to hold a ticket and a supposed spot in the club just to have had to wait 5 hours to catch the last hour of paul's set is just ridiculous! i love paul, but i'm not going to tolerate that.
after leaving the line, i tried to get a refund from space and got some hogwash answer. i am stopping payment to space for the tickets through my credit card. i am never giving them another dime.
something similar to this happened when paul spun at roxy back in feb 2003. we were lucky enough to get in, but many ticketholders did not due to capacity reasons. paul was outraged that fans were treated like this, and i think made events either refunded the tickets or let the people use them for entrance to the following april gig.
There were so many good parties last week. WMC outdid itself this year. Keep in mind that some of these clubs are trying to steal WMC’s thunder by booking events during the same week and calling it a ‘WMC’ lineup.
These are the same clubs that treat their patrons poorly. If it were possible, I’d say boycott Space and these other leaches and just buy a WMC pass early for $170. There will be more parties one can handle.
Besides, this year, I saw a lot of new talent that deserves recognition. Send these f*ckers a message next year stick to WMC events!

heres a little reality check..
where are all the ones that would praise Space like its some club heaven????
You peeps don't realize Space will somehow some way get you..
get to Space early & you'll see that u will have an awesome time. If u guys are troopers... then u shouldn't have a problem hanging out at Space. Another reason why WMC was so packed. SPRING BREAK<<<---- WMC & SPRING BREAK.. bad timing.
also if u don't want to pay $7 for a bottle of water. Why don't u ask the bartendar to give u a cup of water instead w/ ice?? <--( i wanna hear the answers to this one.)
overall space was good but operations SUX!!!!!!!! all i kno for next time is GET THERE EARLY(and dont leave the main room or you will get stradned outside for a good hour or more)!!!!!!!!!
