The only thing I don't like about HBO shows is the kind of forced interjections of the world "fuck" into every other line in the script and predictable nudity/sex every 30 minutes or so. But I haven't seen carnivale, though people keep recommending it.

I agree. It's almost formulaic. But I guess that's what makes HBO, HBO.

Definately check out Carnivale. It's better than sex, but was cancelled after only the second season. It was originally supposed to be 6. Hopefully one day they'll bring it back, if there's enough interest.

i've seen about 4 deadwood shows and i just can;t get into it. there sure isa lot of swearing however from that guy with the classic mustache!

as for carnivale, i just don't like it
