Is there another alternative at the same price for the stanton DJ Pro-3000???
the HD-280 are very expensive out here too...its price is twice from the stanton's...
and as for the sony 7506 i'm not familiar with those headphones...first time i hear on these...
anyone has another suggestion? i am looking for a headphone that is more or less on the same price as the stanton's...

Sony 7506 are also called V6.
Maybe also look at the Stanton PRO-2000s. Should be cheaper, apparently the same innards are the 3000, but never heard of someone breaking them.

^^ Yeah go with the cheaper stantons, the pro 2000's or the sony MDR7506/V6 .. their probably about the same price as the stanton pro 3000's, or slightly more BUT they don't swivel, so if you definately need that feature than I reckon give the stanton pro 2000's a shot.

It seems like all the headphones that swivel sideways - the stanton 3000's, sony's v700s, pioneer hdj1000's etc all seem to crack easily Don't know about the new heavy technics ones though, they would be way out of ur price-range though I think.

There is a problem called ISRAEL...the fucking problem is that these headphones (Stanton DJ Pro-2000s) are not marketed here and DONT ASK ME WHY 'cause i realy don't know
Iven the official Stanton Importer of Israel is not selling this model and u guys have no idea how angry i am for that

concerning about the RP-DH1200....well it's way out of my budget so i'm not iven considering it.
BTW i'll think about the Sony 7506/V6 but i realy want the swivel feature so i'm still waiting for another suggest but if there's no other alternative than unfortunately it's gonna be a batlle between the
Stanton DJ Pro-3000 Vs. Sony MDR-V7506.

so far you have helped me very much people...thank you all, you've done a great job

Can you order the 2000's in from overseas through chemical records or something? It'd still work out fairly cheap I reckon

I don't see why Chemical wouldn't deliver to you, they use regular post for deliverys, so they don't care where it goes just aslong as the country has a mail service, dunno if they have those headphones though.

RP-DJ1200 for $69.00 ... free shipping too! These are the black ones with the "Technics" words in Purple..

I know they don't ship int'l but if somebody would buy it for you and ship it to you, that'll work too... just a thought..

That's freakin cheap for the black technics! They also have the new technics for $99, while the cheap stantons are like $89! Definately have a look into this..

I swapped my broken stantons for a pair of the black technics (RPDJ1200s), but unfortunately they dont' swivel sideways - only forwards and back which doesn't really let you do the on-shoulder listening thingo which sucks so I've had change my listening style... but I pretty much got them cause they hardly ever break, and I knew if I got any other pair of side-swivelling headphones they were gonna crack and i'd have to shell out more cash to replace them

I would recommend the Stanton 2000's. I've had my pair for over a year with mild-moderate use and they've not broke or had any probs.
