I read the same arguments regarding ASOT every day.
But trance is more than one sound, there's the real hypnotic trance from baaaack in the day, as kr00ton said, the prog. trance of today, the dutch epic trance, and most ASOT tunes you hear today, and many other trances, it seems as if every DJ makes their own version...
Anyway what I want to say is, there's a lot of trance out there for all of us, so if one DJ ie. Armin, doesn't play what you like, there's no need to criticise them but try some other DJ, because I don't think the things are THAT same as original poster suggested after all. |
I do like armin and tiesto
I don't like ferry anymore.
His tracks became so popish...
"Erm, they use exactly the same wave forms for leads in every other electronic music genre. The waveform has nothing to do with originality, its what you do with it that counts."
With new waveforms there will be new possiblities.
Right now we are locked on supersaws.
Uplifiting trance can be uplifiting without supresaws.
