The first girl I ever had a serious 'in love' thing with back in college, ended up screwing me over big time, she started shagging her flat mate on the side, I only found out because this guy's other girl friend busted them together (i.e. he was cheating on his own girlfriend to shag MY girl )
Anyway I ended up going around to her place that night on this big stupid commando mission ... I broke into her car with a clothes hanger, and duck taped a dead possum to her exhaust manifold
About a month later I saw the guy in the pub as well, and stole his leather jacket when he wasn't looking. |
Holy shit. That's rich. Ok, ok. My turn.
I was going out with this girl for about a year, things were going great (or so I thought)..anyways.. we were going to Toronto to spend the weekend there w/ friends, do the party thing, come back Monday 'even more in love' as she put it. Anyways, day of, she tells me that her Grandpa is in the hostpial with a stroke, and she doesn't want to leave the city. I, of course, offered to stay with her, but she insisted that I go, saying that her family didn't want non-family members at the hospital. I was like 'Ok..' Not really understanding at the time. When I get to Toronto, I try and have a good time with my friends, but I couldn't stop thinking about my gf, and was having a shitty time. So I decide that I'd go and surprise her at home, make her weekend a little better. So I caught the earilest bus home, picked up a movie and head over to our apartment.
I open the door to.....barry white. The same CD we played when we were doin' our thang..So I'm thinkin', maybe she missed me and decided to ah..ahem, which she was known to do.
I check the living room..nope. So I check the bedroom..where I hear..noises. I open the door, and BLAM-O! There HE is, riding my girlfriend, RIDING HER! He sees me first and stops. She looks up, wondering why..and then she sees me. The guy scrambles off the bed and makes a move for his clothes. Hehe. I would have went for the window, if I was him. I beat the crap out of him, stole his clothes, and threw him out into the hallway. I told the bitch that she had 10 minutes to get whatever she could carry and get the fuck out. Then I walked out into the hallway with a bat, told the guy he had 30 seconds to leave the building. Boy can a naked guy run.
So yeah, there's my heartache. I can laugh now, which is a good thing, I suppose.

Hi slylee, you know something, I totally agree with you.being friends with your exes is the worst thing you can do to your current girlfriend or boyfriend, when I first started going out with my boyfriend he used to talk to his ex all the time, and he wouldnt even call her, she was the one to call him, but he would call her back whenever we went to a place and she was there, they would talk, I hated it, she liked him still so that is why she would always call him,I know for a fact that if someone still talkts to their ex, they still feel something for them,So I told him, it was either me or her, and of course he picked me, cause she had fucked him over so many times.
My ex boyfriend before him, cheated on me with his "ex",then he came to me and told me on my face what he did, but he would never do that, znd that he was very sorry, I dint do anything, and I didnt say anything to him, i just left him there, and got myself a new boyfriend. I hate revenges, I always think about it, if the person you are with is treating you bad, then you sure can get someone better.

i disagree with this and yellowbee's post. you guys are generalizing here..... not every guy stays friends with his ex's in order to "make current gf's jealous" or to "keep his options open." not at all..... i happen to be friends with some of my ex-girlfriends, and i try NEVER to bring them up in conversation. I don't want to cause trouble in my existing relationship b/c of whats happened in the past. Why am i still friends with them then? 2 reasons: 1) we had an amicable breakup, no fights. 2) i was friends with them BEFORE i started dating them, why end a friendship b/c of an ended relationship? as a matter of fact, if anything they help me resolve issues and solve problems that i currently have. They give another point of view. To top everything off i am in NO way attracted to any of them. I had my times with them in the past, and do not "feel" for them what i used to, or feel for my current gf.
I frankly don't see the harm in being friends with your ex's...... i mean if you were going to hook back up with them, why did you stop going out with them in the first place? why would you be going out with someone else right now? just to cause heartaches? i can understand if a guy did that to you in the past, but not all guys think that way or are such blatant assholes. You just gotta take each case by case.
Basically, don't hold it against a guy right off the bat if he is still friends with his ex's....... you never know, one day one of those ex's might actually help him when *you* get into a fight with him, and she helps tell him what to say, and what to do to mend things with you...... hell its happened to me before.

I think its cool to be friends with your exs. But like ABT stressed...he never makes it an issue with him and Faye. He doesn't rub it in her face...or talk about them constantly. Just bc you break up doesnt mean you stop caring about them as a person. I think most people have problems with the current bf/gf being friends with their exs bc they are insecure. But I think that if the bf/gf makes them feel as if they are the #1 thing in their life then that shouldnt be an issue anymore. |
yeah... but doesn't it hurt more? like if she breaks up with me, but says "hey, we can still be friends"... it just makes it hard as hell... especially if U're not used of seein' her like anything else but the loved one... seein' her, smiling, laughing... I don't even take into consideration a new boyfriend... her breaking up is like showing me I am not good... everything I stand for, I represent is wrong... what's the reason in livin' afterwards that?
'bout jealousy, this is generally stupid. not always... let's just say there are different levels of jealousy, and there's at least one that might find a justification, but not this type. Jealous ppl are often dangerous, and if not they are the best... (not gonna get into this now...)
yeah... some say "we can still be friends" out of pity, or try and make the other one better... I think it's something cruel...
