Well I'm hoping the Jays are gonna have a better year this year than they did last year. There's alot of potential in the team but it just seems like they can't compete with the big teams like NY or Boston especially since they're all in the same division. The Jays have acquired some new young talent in Coskie and Hillenbrand but their main problem is they don't have any marquee players anymore and the pitching staff needs some work too. How can they compete when the Yankees have Mussina/Johnson and Boston with Schilling. Who the Jays have Halladay? Yeah he was good last year but he's no Johnson or anything of that sort. I miss the early 90s Jays when they were strong and a contender

I was at the home opener. 50,560 in attendence. I was more excited about Slash playing the anthems and the TPBoys throwing the opening pitch. It seemed that people in the 500 section were entertained more by the paper airplanes (made from the Rogers Promotional material that left in a bag taped to each seat) and heavy magnets that were being whipped out onto the field all evening ...which is kind of sad.

Doubt I will be attending another game this season...little too slow paced for this girl.
