i would to clarify that i was unaware of the legalities of burning vinyl to cd and the loss of rights involved. since ive played only vinyl to this point ive never had to deal with this issue before, but i can say with certainty that once i do purchase my pioneers i will never play any ripped-off music. as for my decks, after taking into account all thats been said above (as if the sole fact that i wont be burning my old vinyl to cd not isnt enough) it seems as though ill keep my decks after all! i must admit that i was just a few keystrokes away that morning from putting them up on ebay but im certainly glad i consulted my fellow TAs first. thanx all!

true, its very hard though, especially when you live in a place like india. no record shop, customs is a pain in the ass for bringing in vinyl, it makes life very difficult. ive been trying to use beatport etc more often, but its still a bitch and a half. its just so hard to find the songs i want to buy.
