I established that Im just doing traktor, and was asked to do an end of the year party by my team and simply wanted to know some good party songs mostly rap, as I don't really listen to this genre. Get the fuck out of the thread, the guy asked for suggestions for a school party, not for rap necessarily, he asked for song suggestions. As for what to play, really, you could probably get away with just throwing on Dr. Dre's Chronic 2001 all night but for some other tunes that might do the trick:

from my experience me and my friend promoted a end of term party for students who we knew, all came from the schools in ballarat (mainly yr10 - yr12 grade)

i trusted in the music i was playimg and was happy in playing my style of music.
the whole night turned out great and we filled the joint to capacity, the main ingredient was techno / trance / little prog and cirez d.

no one questioned me the whole night it was good!
except the bloody needle skipped so many times it wasnt funny!

sorry i dont have any suggestion but you dont have to be a pro dj to understand just play what you feel is right by you dont let people influence you too much.
funny i started my set off with cj bolland - the prophet lol, but i like it anyway!
it took everyone a while to start dancing but we soon filled the floor.

you got to expose people to trance, else you dont know what there reaction is to it!

As for Overload,most people haven't heard the Instrumental Mix and as they are so cheesy V&S these days (yeah,i can call the producers of my favourite tune cheese producers as they are now.Can you do the same to your favourite tune??),they start stating bullshits.As an uplifting tune Overload is one of the greatest tunes for me.Damn i was listening to it every day for at least 10 times the past 2 years (yeah that's right,two whole years,how many times everyday and for how long do you listen your favourite tune you?).Now if you don't like it i don't really care,after all i may not like your best tune and call it cheesy (you should love this word,everyone puts it wherever he wants these days).
