True mate, you can definately get away mixing within 4% range if your mixing trance. And to the original poster if you get 2 denons, you can have one set to 10% (0.1 increments) and the other set to 4$ (0.02) thats what I kinda do cause i only have a CDJ100 (0.1) and a denon s3000.

I have a cdj800 and a cdj 1000, and I think i got what I paid for with each. The 1000 is more because of the better pitch range and the wave display, both of which I think are really important. but teh 800s are solid as hell to.
