i agree. i like the grooviness, the almost tech and house like feel of this track. down and dark and dirty. good stuff. but yeah, let's get the right parts uncompressed and phattened up a bit and bam.

Imo, you're one of the most skilled artists on TA. This is a bit overcompressed, but I think this tracks fits with overcompression actually. This is for sure very special!!

yes. a dub would probably have been the way to go when doing the iio remix. but on the other hand, there's not much left from the original mix if you remove the vocals. i like vocals, especially when doing a remix (and ESPECIALLY when they asked for something with a bit of a hook), but dub's are nice as well if you have a great melody to back them up.

thanks! i have, since reading everyone's opinion, removed a bit of the compression but it's hard to keep the "fatness" of the track with less compression. but i'll work it out
