The original is such a powerful piece of music, you only have to watch Platoon to feel the full effect.
And no, Halliwell did not remix this, he totally raped the Tiesto mix by spamming the breakdown, a hands-in-the-air trip for about 5 minutes at +8. Dire.

In the beginning there was Jack. And Jack had a groove. And from this groove came the groove of all grooves. And while one day viciously throwing down on his box Jack boldly declared "Let there be house!" And house music was born. I am the creator and this is my house and in my house there is only house music. But I am not so selfish because once you enter my house it then becomes our house and our house music and you see no one man owns house because house music is a universal language spoke and understood by all. You see, house is a feeling that no one can understand really unless you're deep into the vibe of house. House is an uncontrollable desire to jack your body and as I told you before this is our house and our house music. In every house you understand, there is a keeper and in this house the keeper is Jack.

the new mixes are ok, i like Ferry's better, but for me the best has to be Tijs' remix. Just the memories of the TIC intro are enough to send me into space
i do agree it has lost a little bit of its magik since TMF got wind of it

When I was sitting in the Main tent @ Creamfields, 5:45am, doing my tits in. I believe he done the same thing in Glasgow a good few months back.

Barber's original or Tiesto's remix. Not a big fan of the others, although the Skip Raiders rendition isn't too shabby. Actually, anything except the awful Corsten remix would be alright.
In all fairness I don't rate the composition that highly to begin with.
The only four I've heard are the four given in the original post, but I think I might go with the Skip Raiders one on this, followed by the original and then Tiesto's.
