I used to work at a jewelry store and from experience, people wearing diamond studs NEED to get a screw back...especially if the diamond is a decent size. Its too easy to lose with a regular butterfly backing. Also, if you are getting your ear pierced for the first time, it has to be a special sharp post earing. Usually diamond studs to not come with that type of post, so its best if you get it pierced with an earing specifically designed for piercing and then change it to the diamond 6 weeks later. PM me if you need more info and I can direct you to someone in industry that I know very well.

anyways, if you want the earring don't bother with a real diamond for now. just get a fake one since you don't know if you will like it in a few months and what are you gonna do after with a waste of money.

for your first earrings tho, make sure you get real silver because many people get a bad reaction to anything else.
