Numarks duals are supposed to be ok too, but I have no experience with them.

ive had problems with numark duals on multiple occasions, ands the build quality isnt great....

in bombay the cmx 3000 pio dual cd player IS the standard in almost all clubs.

if you're not scratching with it, it might make more sense to go with a dual cd player. Havign two functional decks is better than one, and if you can't afford two table top cd players, it might make sense to go with a dual. Denon's new one, the 6000 is freaking cool as hell. It has .02% pitch step which is as good as cd players come with right now. It costs $899 at Guitar Center, but I'm sure you can find a cheaper one...

Anyone care to explain what that stuttering is? I don't know much about cd players yet.

spinning the platter is just like holding FF or RW on your home or car cd player...its just a bunch of stuttering...its not going to emulate the manipulation of vinyl. Which is very misleading on pioneer's behalf given that big platter on the cdj-200

Thanks for clearing that up kreamy. Does it have any negative influences at all? Or is it more annoying.

Other than not being able to scratch or backspin, or anything, its fine to mix with. I just cant stand it. Cueing up feels so un natural. Its basicly the same as turning vinyl mode off on a cdj1000/800/mk2. Its perfectly useable, but it just doesnt seem right.

I can understand it feels unnatural. Stuttering would be quiet annoying.
Thanks for clearing it up guys!
