Tickets are $39(inc gst) + bf and are on sale now through Landspeed Records Canberra City, Stocks Clothing (Woden, Belconnen, Tuggeranong and Canberra City)
i'm not a promoter so i'm not sure who the support acts are. You can try contacting friction and see what they say.
either way, with DD & DH it will be a massive night.
ps. i'll buy you a drink if you buy me two first

ok some random thoughts..
academy - nice venue, but could do with a bit more dancefloor space. absolutely pumping bass once you're up on the stage area. the floor was literally shaking (which was good) but way too small (bad). too much people didn't leave much room for dancing.
danny howells - he was lurvin it! all smiles layin on the smooth GU027 miami beats. prog house at its best. some tribal beats thrown in too which was wicked. he played a few tracks from GU027 but i was a bit alcoholised so i can't remember which ones :P oh i'm sure i heard Dennis Desantis - Thin Air but could be wrong...
deep dish - opened with the Star Wars Imperial Death March !!! Absolutely crazy!! From that point on it was just rockin'. Perhaps a bit too prog for some people, though it was more tribal imo. Some really deep and thumpin tribal beats. I'm not a fan of the stuff but I think after last night I have more of an appreciation for what good tribal beats can do in a club. I stayed until 4am waiting for flash dance but it didn't come, and a couple mates had stayed way longer than they normally would have so we bailed. "Say Hello" was just beautiful (definite highlight for me hearing it on the club system and seeing the crowd getting into it), as was a few other melodic numbers in the set. Thought at times they were going trancey but then BOOM bass drops and it's pumpin' prog again. Good show!
Definitely pumped for Hordern. Sydney folk have got one special night on the cards.
oh yeh, great seeing you there oztiesto!

You too mate! Sorry I didn't catch up more but ended up being a really random and munted night hehe
Howells was the clear standout for me, played some awesome big techy house (or at least techy house that just sounded wayyy more massive than it should thanks to the academy sound hehe) and some big room tribal which I loved to death
Deep Dish....well, I'm regretting not paying more attention to the second half of their set when the dude who didn't look like Saeed from Lost was playing. The first 2hrs really bored bo, big prog which lacked melody and didn't really go anyywhere...the only track i didn't get bored by was Say Hello....spent the rest of night being random and munted hehe, but I still had a great time
