I was wondering about the same.. Even though this was my first "club night" after my move in.

and there were times when i wanted to punch him in the face

i had a great time. probably havent enjoyed myself since the first time ferry came to plush couple of years ago. he droped a bomb after bomb after bomb, from start till finish, for three hours straight. i think everyone already said everything there was to say about the night. it was great, the place was going crazy. it was packed in there, good thing the area behind the DJ was open, there was some breathing room up there. the upstairs was open too, really nice view of the club. lasers were missing in action but things looked fairly neat anyways.

there are two tracks that i'm dying to know the names. one sounded like it couldve been a bootleg. it had bits of tiesto's lethal industry but also some female vocals, sounded really nice. and the other track sounded hell of a lot like adagio for strings, but it wasnt. new remix possibly?

overall, the set sounded a bit classic i guess, for a lack of a better word. quite a few older tunes, also a number of what sounded like new tracks but with the older feel to them, late 90s, early 2000 'ish. it all sounded the way true trance was destined to sound.

i did take pictures, but i havent had the time to ul them yet. they'll be up in the next couple of days

I think he loves the fact he escaped from circus and trying to earn some Fan "Support"

And yes, that musta been a bootleg of Lethal Industry, totally caught my attention. I was just about to go sit down and I heard it come on.... oh my trademark track surprises me once again *dies*

OMG. that was the best set I've ever heard in my life...
track after track. All we could say was unbelievable and flawless.
I got the privlege to talk to him and he said he will have a new cd by the end of this year.

Serious... he is awesome. what other DJ in the top 10 plays over 50% of his own tracks that he either remixed or produced?
Track after track.... WOW!

his set in Edmonton was just as good a few diffrent tracks, but still the same energy.

He had a smile on the entire time at that club. danced the entire time he was there. was getting hounded by everyone and still did not mind.
remember oakenfold everyone? hahahah what a joke.

Next up. ARMIN!!! but I don't think armin can even top this performance.
btw lol. consider it a compliment that he told you to pay attention and didn't tell you to fuck off! and please don't take that as an attack.

well it was rude that he said it. I mean, there's other things going around in the club other then HIM. I don't know, a simple "sorry, already played" would be sufficient.

You never know though... he could have been just as excited as you! and wanted to drop it at just the right time, and surprise the shit outta ya???

I know what it's like as a DJ to get asked, over and over again to play a particular song, and you end up giving redundant answers and you don't mean too
e.g. people always asking me to play Born Slippy, right again. and when someone asks me to play it, all and of the sudden I have this new remix in my bag I'm waiting for the opportunity to play,, and please someone.
So I tell that someone, "just you wait!", and it could be taken totally out of context.
Kinda along the same lines *shrugs*

Anyway, as we saw Ferry getting into the car, (i felt like a starstruck idiot talking to him) but I saw he was really appriciatiative of the good things people have to say to him! Doesn't seem like to guy to "putoff" like he did to you Neoh.
Shrug it off, as I'm sure you did
