Yeah, I have *much* more accurate graphs by polling my router's WAN interface via SNMP, and then graphing the output with MRTG.

Yep. My aforementioned buddy called around to a few "unlimited" DSL providers asking if he could push 140+GB/mo. Most of them laughed and said their service was not *that* unlimited. Except for Look Communications who said no problem to using whatever you can.

My buddy worked out the following deal:

$59/mo (2 year contract) gets him:

- TRUE unlimited transfer.
- 4Mbps down and 896Kbps up.
- a static /28 block of IPs. (16 total, 14 usable)
- Reverse Delegation to his name server for his IP block.

Assuming you could push the max 4Mbps/896Kbps for the entire month, that would be approximately 1.5 terabytes of transfer. Go go gadget torrents!
