Ive just listened to this track 3 times as I was surfen the net & getting side tracked. I kept on remembering that this was a TA track & then kept going back to be critical. 3 attempts later & this is what i come up with:

Well I reckon its a pretty damn kickass track.
Energetic start.
nice bass drum. percs ok. That snare/clap is a bit 'tinny'
5.30 beautiful break.
6.15 Awesome fx.
6.50 .....heap of energy.
great end

Good tune, really nice structure, LOVE the perc - it's perfect for the track (while giving it an original sound at the same time. Really good lead as well.

I've gotta agree that the mix of the track seems to be focussed a bit too much around the mid frequencies, which is stopping individual elements from being as defined as they should be, the lead in particular. I think adjusting EQ on various sounds to separate them a bit is probably what's needed here, they're all sounding a little bit suppressed.

Mark: 5/10 although this could easily jump up to an 8 or 9 if you can sort out what I've mentioned above.

(Scale: 0 = don't bother, 1-3 = needs work, 4-5 = nearly there, 6-8 = releasable, 9-10 = I'd play it)

Thanks guys, will definately get to work on the mids.

I can actually explain the reason for this. Been working on my laptop so have to use the head phones and as such have not had the chance to actually do the mixing on my monitors. Although I'm not particularly good when it comes to eqing a track.

Thanks for the excellent feed back. It's also really nice to get some good pointers too.
