I doubt that you can compare both years. The style has changed, it's completely different now. I prefer today Trance because it's more multifaceted as at that time.

yeah trance has changed since 2000. it's gotten bigger, grander, more puffed up, more of everything that made it bad in 2000. but the decade in general has been a pretty bad one for trance. hopefully in the next decade it will either die a painless death or come back like never before.
