Ebay has actually banned the selling of any cd-rs (that was done awhile ago) but they don't it enforce much...probably because it would be very hard to regulate everything sold on ebay considering there are thousands of things.

Hmmm ... live sets burning on cd and selling them is lame! Cause if many ppl would do that the DJs will say "no, we won't upload any livesets any more, now we gonna sell them for ourselves!" And that would be the end of free online-livesets ... and i dun think any TA would like that, ey?
So the best method against that is not to sell them and not to buy them!

thats is stupid. many livesets are already being blocked on AG. i was amazed by that--no one makes money off of live sets (except for those GU CD's and some of Tiesto's magic stuff, for example)! turns out they do. besides, those are copyrighted tracks that make up a live set. many of my friends at school sell burned cd's at eh... $5 each. personally, i don't like to do it myself and don't like them doing it.

WARNING - YOU WILL NOT LIKE WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY
How much are these CD's going for? I'm sorry but a lot of people are sounding very hypocritical right now. Everybody's sitting here going on about copyright theft and how shit it is that they don't respect the musicians as though the record companies don't give a shit about us distributing our mp3's like we do. Us being the noble robin-hood types bringing trance music to the poor and needy of course.
Hard as it may be to accept, not everybody has access to broadband connections or even an unmetred 56k dialup and this may be the only way they can get hold of the music. If somebody wants to take the time to burn a CD and somebody else is willing the chuck them a couple of quid for the effort then good on 'em both.
Anyway there's my rant...fire away

I hear what yer saying about people not having access to dl stuff but still...people are making money off of others works which is total BS! If somebody didn't have access to dl stuff and wanted it they could have someone send them the stuff and pay them only the price of the postage <--the way it should be. Its complete garbage that they would make a profit of it.

well if they need live sets why dont they sell them for 2 bucks or so becaus 7 bucks is way to much to help the poor. If the live sets are super good quality that would make sense but in this case it doesnt.
