Why wouldn't Iran bother telling the U.N. about it's intentions if in fact they are truthful, with nothing to hide?
I'd sure as hell want to know why...

I said what are the EU doing wrong, and as far as I am concerned they are going about it the right way. Iran is playing games like North Korea to see what they can get and how far they can push. I also asked what your solution to this problem would be. Baring in mind that America does not have the means to mount another Iraq-style military operation for years, and that ultimately, as far as Iran is concerned (esp with internal dissent) the EU has a far greater weapon in sanctions. Of course there is the possibility of an airstrike, not invasion. But you dont get any oil that way!

I never did say they were doing anything wrong?
The posted image clearly indicates that the EU must have be going in circles trying to convince Iran of some assurances.

Solution? It's simple; Iran should just simply have let the world know of it's intentions...how hard can it be?
And why would I care about oil? We have a $50 Billion dollar projecting going on here in Canada.

The US used its "new" nuclear technology to bomb Japan and end WWII. That technology is not so new these days and we're faced with perpetually persuading third world countries who are catching up not to use the WWII technology. I doubt if we can be successful in the long run with countries intent on joining the nuclear club.
