you want to make an electro-ish track dreamy ?!? it's not trance it's much more housey.

prog is a completely USELESS piece of terminology.. i hate the term prog but what can i do? to me progressive means the elements of the track are more slowly layered in.. this isn't quite full out progressive, but it does have progressive qualities..

did you say proggy? ew... but...here goes.

Nice thick synth. Good groove. Awesome tantalizing lil piano tidbits. Good ambience with the FX and backgrounds. This really does have some great elements.
Not bad. For Prog.
Don't you guys want "tune"? Or does the evolution of sounds do it for ya!?
I dont know how to fully appreciate this genre, but I know a good production when I hear it....this is very good!
I like the choices of synths and sounds used.
Keep it up man!

^^^ like i said above, the actual term "prog" is soooo stupid IMO...
i generally listen to prog as chillout music rather than dancing music, although there can definitely be progressive tracks that can make me wanna bounce.. this is actually one of them..

i find the opposite true - @ 3:30 is when it gets too light & proggy for me... 4:30 when the tweaked bass comes back is when it starts to get interesting again.

Awesome track mate! That bassline is just and that piano part is great as well. Got nothing to say production wise, but this is a great piece of music you produced

thanks so far guys!

just wanted to mention one thing: i never said it was prog and while producing it, and i didn't have the intention to make a prog track. i think the title of the thread says how you could describe the genre, but this is a term as useless as prog. i think it's just my style and i can't make music that fits into genres, i like to switch styles, cross boundries and mix up genres to create a whole new style of electronic entertainment.

whoa, did i really write that much? ok, nuff said i think
