Indeed, you don't get it cause you don't know whats it's all about.
They are not for consume. Canada kills seals cause Canada thinks they eat to much fish and think that has an effect on the fish-economy. Results after big researches sais their is planty of fish so it's all bullshit.
And the way they got killed. Not like cows which get a pin in their brain. No like this:
