Hehe, actually, I did know Halcyon before I heard the compilation, as I recall it. However, if there's a song in the soundtrack that did change my life, that's "Shauna Imrei - Two telephone calls and one air raid". It's been a favourite of mine for years.

Me too. The Empire Strikes Back melody by changing the pitch of the record was pretty sweet though. The Japanese guy totally owned the Brit.

Wasn't that the Funeral March? (I don't know the name in English - in Portuguese we call it "Marcha Fúnebre")

imperial march (from star wars) was probably composed to be slightly similar to evoke the same feelings
