* Windows XP says in the requirements that whilst it will run on 64mb this is an ABSOLUTE MINIMUM and with just 64mb certain programs won't run
* Windows XP says in the requirements that it really requires 128mb of RAM.
* I run windows xp with 128mb ram, it works beautifully
* Its 256mb of RAM not 256k; get it rite :-P

I dont like XP...to me its just another way for microsoft controlling the computer industry..... u have to buy the OS for every computer u put it on seperatley thats a bullshit i think... if u have a small network at home with few computers u have to buy it for every computer if u want to run it ...and many scanners and printers wont run on XP as well XP doesnt expect the drivers....its all load of hassel ...i stick with ME

Thats the way its always been with every single fucking operating system by microsoft, and other companies as well... XP just enforces it more... Thats whats included in the license so if u dont like then either
a) don't buy it
b) ignore the licensing issues illegally

Don't just get/use the software illegally and then COMPLAIN on top of that.

actually the corperate edition can be installed on any computer at all. you could have a whole network off one cd.

In my experience there's no such thing as "just" when inserting RAM-modules in a RAM-slot. At first (because of static electricity) you're very careful not to touch the darn thing and in the end you're up dancing on it in order to make it slip into place. Or maybe I've just been unlucky with my purchases so far
