Explain to me how a phone call from his mother in iraq is an emergency.
I did not read the article, but it doesnt even say what she does. She could be a fucking cook. Even if she isn't, I'm sure it was no emergency. It's not like she was underfire, and is going to call her son.
You automatically assume that someone in the military, doing their job, in iraq, is in an emergency situation. Well thats not the case in the least. You keep stating "IN IRAQ" like that means something. Like "OMFG IT WAS HIS MOM....IN IRAQWZ!!!!" She's just doing her fucking job. I am a 90% chance that she was in no danger whatsoever at the time she made the phone call. At best she might have been endangering some civilians or something. Iraq isnt some magical war zone. Man, troops have to go OUT of their way to get in any sort of danger.
EDIT: Pfff, I started typing this shit way before you yan. I'm not going to delete it now, even though I just stated the same fact as you about ten times over...Fuck I need to learn to control myself.
