The shawarma in Syria are very good, way better than the average ones in Montreal and it costs 1$ compared to 5$ over here.

whats my point? none.

sad but true,

vancouver's sushi is generally a hell of alot cheaper. plus you get these massive portions. but usually every city has its places that are a cut above. and i'm going to try and find one or two in montreal.

i mean, hell its montreal so its gotta be good...

1. Sakura
2. Little Treehouse (St-Laurent, just a tad on top of Sherbrooke.)

Yes, Vancouver's sushi is to die for.. coming back to Montreal, I was very disappointed in the price and quality. We went to Sho-Dan, which gave tiny portions of good, but not as good as we were used to sushi, and it was outrageously priced. We had some good sashimi at Prima Donna, but it's an Italian restaurant with a sushi bar, an expensive one!

Anyway, if you're looking for good sushi, you're on the wrong side of the country, but hopefully you'll find something adequate over here

Cite d'Asie on Drummond & Ste. Catherine... All you can eat good quality for around $35... much better than Kanda and Sho-dan but not as good as Treehouse... Great quality at Cite d'Asie for what you pay though...

Its a little known fact that if you eat out at different restaurant for each meal of the day in downtown Montreal for every day of the year, you won't eat at the same joint twice.

I should know after 5 bachelor years there!

But anyways, that is your useless fact of the day.

McGill, hence the 5th year since I had a stellar freshman year

Don't get me wrong, I don't suggest that Concordia is any easier! Well....
