AP doesn't give you the rounded education that the IB program does. In IB you have to take all of your courses at a higher level, and most of the IB courses are more challenging than AP courses anyway.

70 pages? no no no. You write an extended essay which is 4000 words. You choose the title of it, so its bound to be something that interests you. Did mine on the cuban missile crisis...so annoyed the limit was only 4000
