I don't know about that. This movie rings true to every stereotype: Black aren't law obiding, Asians can't drive and people who can't speak english (if you're in America) are morons. Not much to analyze. Everyone's racist, that's the whole point of the movie (except the persian guy, he was just dropped one too many times on his head while a baby).

You missed the the point of the movie entirely. The movie is about progress in the way humans interact and relate to one another. Yes the racism and prejudice overtones are in the movie but you can sympathize and relate with the characters.
As soon as you think you know what a character is like they do something completely different than what you were expecting. The audience finds themselves sympathetic to those they thought they hated and disturbed by the very people they thought they understood.
One of the best movies of the year imo. Go out and see it.
PS Ludacris does a great job in this. I liked the whole "hip-hop" scene in the navigator and found it very ironic that this was coming out of his own mouth.

Well the fact that I don't agree with your interpretation of the movie hardly warrants labeling me as a person who failed to grasp the movie in its entirety. That being said, the movie shows the good side of people and their racist side. If you choose to overanalyze it, do so. In my view it's quite simple - good people can be racist. The movie is one of the better ones to be released this year. Not because of thought out themes and hidden meanings, but because of consistent storyline and well defined characters.
