Miami, LA, perhaps Montreal...........
I'll have to visit these places and compare.
Whoever said that there isn't an official trance capital in USA/ North America is right. On the contrary, as far as a world capital of trance is concerned, Germany takes the crown. I believe it is official. But, in North America, there are a few places or a place which stands out from the rest. There has to be. Nothing will compare to Europe because it is the birthplace of trance. It's part of European culture. Trance is not in our blood here. You can be in a little village in France, Italy or Holland and hear trance on the radio. Imagine if this were the case in the USA/North America. But, maybe trance is better off underground in the USA. It's better appreciated by the "enlightened" North Americans in this setting.
I read a lot of info on trance music. As a result, I knew Miami was going to be in the running. LA??? Never really crossed my mind. I thought about Montreal. ???
It wouldn't take much to beat NYC or SF. I do support all trance scenes in USA, but the truth is the truth. Those cities are not "measuring up" in way of trance music, but I haven't been to Miami, LA or Montreal to compare. So, who knows really?
LA really surprised me as an answer.
I appreciate everyone's replies.
