3.19 You could something different with that break beat; Maybe with a funky drumroll to bring the beat back in.

i'll probably do that in version 2, which will also be longer, and less vocal prolly.
thanks for all the comments guys

Up until 30 seconds, I LOVE how there are 3 different beats/layers. Then a few seconds after that, everything just meshes together. Honestly, I love that scrambled sound in the beginning, how you can just tell there has to be progression, well I could listen to that just on it's own, without that beginning sound developing any further. But then the 303 comes in and everything is in sync.
I love that horn sample? hahha no its not a horn, i dont know what it is, but I like it (at 1:20). I like how the 303 is held in the background and let's that housey, funky beat take control and vice versa. The acid doesn't dominate the house. The house doesn't dominate the acid. Good balance!!
Hightlight: Definately the first 30 sec. SO DAMN FUNKY. OHHHHHH THE introduction of the bass at 15 seconds. The sound at 3:50 - 3:58 I don't know what that's called either, how did you do that? What is it? I WANT TO DANCE. You can't listen to it and not move. That thumping, beating bass sounds so heavy and full!
The 303 is much more heavy in the beginning, then just kind of dissipates after 1:20 ish. Maybe that was intentional?
I like chant, but could do without the "Effin' Cry" vocal sample. That's too bad hahaa because that is the name of your track. Maybe you should just rename it, "The bayou, the bayou, lettin in." errr at least that's what i THINK the words of the chant are.
I.LOVE. THIS. GENRE. It's even more funky than minimal techno and house combined. GAWD, I want to bottle it up and drink it and rub it all over myself. I owe this to YOU. Well, you deserve 1/3 of the credit FUNKY, funky, FUNK !!

that 'horn' sample is a modified brass section patch
the sound at 3:50-3:58 is the lead guitar, just filtered to all hell
the chant says 'positively can do'
thanks for the comments
