Do you need realistic Orch sounds as well? (extremely realistic)

that's quite a task! I don't know the price of that, nor do I know if your local symphony has the greatest recordinggear or not, but if you plan on doing it often, maybe you should look into Gigastudio. I don't have the reference by hand right now, but there's a version that is dedicated to Orchestral and Piano. I remember it being very expensive, so if you plan on doing it for once, and in a legal way, then look for alternatives.

Me myself, I use rompler synths for my piano and orchestral sounds. But I record every note of for example a violin with a different altered Patch-sound to capture the right nuances, to create more realism. It's 10x the amount of work, but for small passages it can really pay off if done well.

i'm sure you've heard of these, but for ocherstra its all about:

east west symphonic orchestra

(or for the rich/serious producers)

vienna symphonic orchestra.

pure brilliance...right now i'm using east west symphonic orchestra silver. cheapest of the bunch, i think like $299US...and fuck does it sound good. i particualarily love the french horns, wholey shit, i've never heard a french horn sound so good in my life!

of course with my suggestions in this thread, i'm more then just an EDM producer, and i'm sure others hear are to, so i thought i'd share the best of the best right now in case anyones in the dark about realism in accoustic instruments.
