Either ebay or Microplay give the best cash trade in values. I'd probably lean towards ebay though. I too am modding my xbox soon.... just need to find a decent place to do it

get the smartxx xbox mod chip and buy the soderless adapter they provide. Depending on the version of your xbox, its a breeze to install, took me less than 20 minutes and I did not have to solder a single thing.

Another neat thing about the smartxx chip is that it has 2 megs of on board ram so that you can store different bioses, and even keep the original if you wanted to boot using it for certain live features....
