Back to the topic. I find it sad that everything is about sex now a days. I think alot of kids/teens/adults have become desensitized from it, that it doesn't even phase them. Which sucks ass, cuz for me..I like sex to be mysterious. I don't wanna know what I'll be getting before I get it. Ya know? Seeing it everywhere has become incredibly boring that I find clothed people to be a turn on, rather then half naked ones.

Back in my generation in the late 60's and early 70's we had hippies, and free sex, drugs, and Vietnam. Things got real prudish as a result in the late 70's and in the 80's when most of you were born. Seems the latest bunch of teens are heading back to the late 60's type genre with the sex craze. Looks like you missed out in the gap!

i hate it when people riff on sex, people at my school always call people whores and slutes who have sex, im like yea whatever.

i would agree though that too much sex mentality is bad.

particularly for the kiddies growing up, who are irresponsible and feel the pressure around them to conform.

lots of teenage pregnancies and stuff happening that people, kids let alone adults, can't handle.

i agree with you that better sex education from your parents, peers and school is necessary. I also agree that people need to think about having sex because STDs are a big problem but I am not entirely convinced that STDs have increased because of sexual activity. If anything, i think more people are aware of the necessity of safe sex these days. when i was single, i never even thought of having sex without a condom.

I think that we have better tools of diagnoses now than in the past. We can easily detect (in women) diseases like HPV which have probably been very common for centuries and we just didnt know. And on the flip side, serious diseases like HIV are increasing for sure, but this is probably more because nature is inventing more resilient diseases that we cant irradicate easily.

It's rather tiresome.

I'm not particularly concerned with people's sexual behavior (people who get STDs deserve them.) I'm concerned about the fact that most people don't seem to have much else to talk about. People these days are inordinately preoccupied with sexuality to the exclusion of other interests. This is particularly annoying because the people who seem to talk the most about sex seem to be the ones who know the least. Ah well... the average man is so determined to be a cretin, his enthusiasm would be cretinous regardless of what he is enthusiastic about.
