I dunno fucking up a film is well anoying. I'd be pissed off having watched half a film and it fucking up. I'd want more than free passes I'd want free food and atleast 2 free passes (usable on other stuff too).

i'd agree i'd be pissed too if they fd up my movie and wouldn't rewind it.

I went to the opening show (Thurday or Friday morning at 12:01 AM) of Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings at Mann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood when it came out in Dec. of 2001. The film went without a hitch until about 10 minutes left when the Uriki found the group and attacked them. This is when the film seemed to catch fire or something because the screen seemed to melt away and we weren't able to see the ending. The crowd was undoubtedly not happy. We stormed out and complained and the managers calmed us down by giving us free tickets.

Here's where it gets strange. A couple of us snuck into the other showing which began about 30 minutes after ours did and stood at the side entrances to watch the conclusion of the film. At about the exact same scene as in our show the film at this showing also caught fire and we were like ! Strange shit.

during our midnight viewing, the important scenes at the end had problems (after the lightsaber duel); the video stopped showing, but the audio kept going. after a minute, they turned the lights up and started to play those ads that are showed before previews start. obviously people were very unhappy. there was a mad rush to go to the room that started 15 minutes after our room.

it's a little annoying to have to watch the most revealing parts of the movie standing up. i'm gonna try and get a refund tomorrow... no managers were around the night of the premiere, and i've had no time to go back to the theater

BTW I would be pissed off too if I paid 9 dollars and only got to saw 3/4's of a movie, regardless of genre.
