The fact of the matter is the Palestines had high hope in Saddam, because, initially, he was developing WMD to counter the Israelis.

With Saddam gone, the focus of the muslim world turned to Iran.

Yes, if Iran had nukes to counter the Israelis, then both will be annihilated. But it is a much better solution than Israelis annnhilating them alone.

When India got nukes, Pakistan decided they wanted their own too.
