Nice, another BM5A user. For real bass, you'd really need a BM9S sub to go with them though.
EDIT: To get back to the original question though, I'd say there's no real way other than listening to them. Personally, I prefer headphones with a flat frequency response anyway, in which case you would go for high-end studio headphones (e.g. AKG K 240 S or K 271 S), and check how low the frequency response is. Otherwise, you'd probably want to go for special DJ headphones that have the lows emphasised, as I believe they are?
