heh.. i think sound engineers look more in depth into frequency ranges than "bass cut, mid cut, treble cut, and gain"... is what jace is trying to say.

hehe i know what you mean, the process is similar but not really comparable - DJs dont tweek the EQ to make the record sound good, they tweek it to look cool

you take that back phil, you take it back right now.

THERES NO WAY I COULD BE EVEN ON THE SAME LINE UP AS MIDRO, it would be too insulting to the great man, the myth, the robocop.

Djing is pretty simple shit imo. It's not rocket science and you're not playing an instrument.

Having said that, there is a pretty massive difference between the good, the bad and the mind blowing.

You have to ask yourself what one does that another does'nt that separates all three.

If it were simply putting a "plastic disc in the correct horizontal position" there would be no difference between any of them.

Talk to ignorant ppl outside of the dance scene and they will laugh at all the edm producers saying "the computer does the work" and that "you dont actually play an instrument so you're not a musician" so there is no real talent.

Are they wrong? of course they are, but how funny when you dumb down any ything how simple it sounds.
