My point has always been that simplistic music must be closer to perfection to entertain. Complex tracks can be weak in many areas as the sum of the parts is less than the whole. However, simple music must be very good in all elements for me to enjoy, and 4 bars of an old funk track isn't a very good element in my book. 4 bars of acid though- I can live with that.

Trust me, I know techno is simplistic. I still enjoy the genre though.

Discounting Sheet One, if i'd a choice, i'd purchase Recycled Plastik inasmuch as it has Krakpot on it. Or you can just buy the vinyl.
