I tend to kind of throw fits when something goes missing. Then after about half an hour of raging, I try to calm down and look literally everywhere, then pretty much let it go.
Sorry to hear about the oven mitt. It sucks because it had sentimental value to you. Who would steal an oven mitt, and more importantly, why?

Maybe it was accidentally tossed in the garbage, which is long gone...

Anyway, bought a really nice new set of mitts at Ikea.

Before I moved into my new place, Aurora's old pipety-pipe got nicked when my landlady was showing my apartment. It was on a window sill (window closed!). There were 4 guys, and I asked her to show it one at a time, but I was on my way out, so that's another reason why I'm so irked about her things going missing!

this is weird and strange, maybe you will find it behind the stove (see how my ESP is working!) I know that there is obvious sentimental value to the oven mitt, sorry darlin' that it is lost. . .. I just called you to let you know that I have two sets of oven mitts ( funny enuff ) since unpackin in my new place. Maybe u will find it under something or with the pet toys? you never know. I know I'll probably get laughed at but I wanted to share a Muslim thing with you guys...apparently we have a specific prayer we say that asks God to help us find whatever it is we are missing...I actually don't know it but my parents do and everytime they recited it for me I found what I was looking for!!!
