you always have to keep thinking you are 'the one', that's the only way to keep motivated, it works for me!
i am the one
i am the one
i am the one
say this another 100 times and you will be producing for the rest of your life, perhaps you will have a release when you are 70 years old...

Try this link, and play The Origin - Dialogue. My best work yet
Music is as universal to people as breathing. We've probably been at it since before we even started talking. Immaging two cavemen smashing away at a peace of flint to make a spearhead. It wouldn't take long for them to learn te synchronise the sound. And there you have it, the words first percussive band.
Music has survived wars, famines, the plague and many other things and has evolved with man across many cultures. Dance music is just the next step in the evolutionary chain. My guess is that it will probably be with us untill we are extinced.

it's funny, yea trance is a genre that's so easy to start producing in.
i was almost about to take a major break from trance and then BAM, i got signed, so you never know what's coming your way, don't let anything stop you from doing what you love
as long as you're satisfied, keep doing what you do
I started playing around with it about 4 years ago. I was really horrible. Then there was the fact that I had a reaaaaalllly old computer that couldn't handle more than ten instruments and more than one or two effects for each. So I just played around in programs and found out which knobs did what and kept on producing crap while getting more familiar with the technology (I didn't have the attention span to actually sit down and read tutorials). Then I started getting involved in communities, reading forums and downloading other people's music, and then BAM, I got that much better in a matter of months.
So what I say is; if it makes you feel small and insignificant, good. That's what's gonna make you strive to get better and better.

I love you guys!!!
But seriously, what you sead about getting involved in communities... Thats exactly what's happening to me right now go to my link and play the track The Origin - Total controll and after that The Origin - Dialogue for instance. Theirs about 1 month in between those tracks and notice the difference in sound quality and overall technique.
By the way that track "Silver Sun" is a f-cking masterpeace. What equipment do you use to get that kind of sound. Doesn't sound like softsynth to me, has a bit of a warm analog feel to it.
That last paragraph was just to sound like I know what i'm talking about and to basicly show off. I'll stop doing that now.

^much much thanks, appreciate it bro. I used FL studio, the lead was done in synth 1, + some distortion fx and whatnot

^i understand exactly what you mean... i listen to old tracks sometimes and then put on the latest track i've made and it makes me feel so good to hear the difference in quality.
