I wanna know what Diggers spun.

I heard from a number of people that he's not spinning his signature "dark progressive house/trance" sound anymore.

I wasn't there last night but the last Fabric sets were much more German influenced. Less house, more of a techno tech-house. (also very electro at times)

(then again, apparently his Fabric sets aren't reflective of his usual 'sound')

Peter you must of heard his Fabric disk?

yes I have...I wasn't that impressed with it to be honest. And that's exactly what I've heard from people; that his style is getting a lot more electro/techy-ish.

Sounds like a missed a good one! Would anyone classify this set as legendary? (doesn't look that way yet)

Can anyone ID any tracks?

OK, so here is my review.

I came really early and there was no line up at 10:20 eventho I figured that there would be. Ran into Tristan and Orko (nice finally meeting you, dude, you do exist!). We were waiting for some more people to show up but then found out that they were already inside so we go in. Thanks to all the boys that got me drinks, it was really nice of you. Someone has to take care of a hoser that is by herself .

The tunes in the front room were amazing. When Deep Groove were on, I liked it in there a lot more than the main room. How could I not? I went in to the main room to check out Evil P but it was really dark and slow so I went back to the front room and they were playing "In Stereo, stereo, stereo". This happens to be my anthem.

So I hung out in the front room with everyone else until around 2 going back and forth to hear some of Brad Copeland in the process who is a perfect fit for System. Such a good sound and a good opener set.

In terms on the crowd, I didn't find it packed at all. It was actually probably half as pack as I thought it was going to be. Maybe it was where I was dancing most of the night or the people that were near me but I didn't find too much pushing or anything.

Now for Digweed, he is really the most solid mixer in the entire world. Not only that but the whole set was something I was waiting for in this town. It was set up so perfectly from the first track to the last. If I was a DJ I would really want to strive towards something like this. It started off nice and slow to get the body warmed up with some progressive head bobbing. Then it really went into the heavier bass sound to get the ass shaking. Then came the dirtier techier stuff that really got me dancing for the next 2 hours. He did slow down for an hour or so just to give me the time to go and mingle with some peeps and then he started more of the crunchier basslines to get me to the front again. Again, as for Danny T, I didn't really know how time went by last night. And yes, I did not know any of the songs that he played and with not too many vocals which is something I remember a lot more than sounds. I think the most knowledgeable people there would be joinT, neasean3 and raiban.

some things to add...

...there was a bunch of really drunk (or whatever) girls in the front who were really enjoying themselves and danced with me quite a lot. Particularily two girls. I bet Ryan Parks has pictures of them in the front. I danced with them most of the night and finally one of them asked me if I knew the other one and I said "no" because I thought they knew each other but they didn't and the other one thought that I knew the first one. It was a triangle of hosery. We all thought that the other two knew each other.

another small point, to Shawzy, your girl is awesome. She is great. She told me at least 3 times through the night that I know her through "Shawzy". I was impressed that she remembered me from Chus and Ceballos. And she really knows how to party. Great vibes. But she did call you a pussy .
