When I was living in Calgary March 2004-August2004
I couldn't find any place that played EDM, and I searched really hard.
Does Calgary have any afterhours? if so,what are the names of the clubs?
Now I see that you guys are getting some big names, so I agree that
EDM is on the rise. It's about time!
I came from montreal and now I am back, honestly I think that Montreal is the capital for EDM and the scene.
I hope Calgary will keep moving forward.

Well obviously you can't compare the scene out west with T.O. or Montreal, but it is a healthy one. The fact that DJs bother to stop here en route to a bigger city means that the scene isn't entirely non existant.
I do know that there's the Warehouse in Calgary -- this is something that Vancouver does not have:
... and Sandra Collins!!! Hope she will make a trip here soon.

I can appreciate Tony's super positive outlook be it the truth or not. He and the Bassline DJ's are working hard. They've got it right though...
!!! Locals Rule !!!
Pretty hard to believe that Piano444 couldn't find any Electronica in the whole city from March to Aug 04. I can name probaby 5 venues right off the top of my head that played electronica every single week on various nights, (one I played at every Sat) not to mention the afterhours, the "superstar" club events and raves... be honest, you didnt even look did you ??
