Yes it was very strange. It was during a big act (can’t remember…but I think it was oakey) and I was right in the center on top of those big blocks where a small group of people can stand on a dance and be on the same level as the DJ…
So yea, I get up on that thing and I’m dancing around, and this guy dancing next to me starts trying to talk to me and he says something like, “man I love oakey bla bla” and I agreed and we attempted to go back and forth about edm for a minute…and then he starts talking about his website where he has his own tunes uploaded and so I thought maybe he had heard of tranceaddict…he had a brit accent, so I thought that would be funny if he was a ukta. So I’m like, “hey have you heard of tranceaddict?” and he totally froze and looked at me and smiled and I was like, “what” and he was like, “what’s your username” and I’m like, “slylee” and he’s like “OH MY GOD! Hahahah I know you, I’m DJ Ravemonkey” and I was like, “oh wow, what a small world” so he gives me this big hug and I’m like umm ok.. I had never really chatted with DJRavemonkey at all, but the name is so funny I totally recognized it when he said it.
I could tell he was f’d on pills or something, he was just like REAALLY talkative and friendly but I just laughed…that was one of the rare nights i was at club space totally sober actually..hahah my boyfriend was rolling though.
so anyway, I decided to get down from the thing and dance with my boyfriend...and later on as we were getting ready to leave, I felt obligated to say bye to the guy, so I walk over to him (he had gotten down too and was right by us) and I gave him a hug and as I turned around to walk away he pinches my ass. lol
I just turned around and laughed at him. He’s lucky my boyfriend didn’t catch on because he definitely would have started trouble….so that’s why I just laughed it off and kept walking.
then of course i got on irc a few days later and i was like, "DJ RAVEMONKEY WHAT'S UP"
it turns out, it was his brother, not him...he had just said he was DJRavemonkey...lol
weirdo.
